Hello Seddit! I found this community a couple of weeks ago and I've spent these last few weeks thinking: "HOW DID I MISS THIS SUB REDDIT?!"

Excuse me if I use wrong/incorrect terminology (still learning)!

So, first, some info about me and some back story.

I'm a fairly confident guy and I've never really had any problems with talking/flirting/closing with girls. Within my immediate friend group, the ladies love me. For most of the girls in my friend group that are dating other friends, I am their go-to person. For the single ones, I've had flings with here and there and actually dated two of them in the past. Most of my these friends I've known for 5+ or even 10+ years and there are very few additions. Everyone loves to party, loves to go out, and loves to have a good time. That being said, during high school and university, most of my interactions with girls was outside this close knit group of friends. But after graduating from university (2 years ago), most of the interactions have been with friends...

Anyway, so four years ago, while on a trip to FL, I met this amazing girl. I had never been the long distance type, but something just clicked with her. We dated long distance for four years (almost 1000 miles away, but same time zone!), but we managed to see each other ALOT... I'd say an average of 1 week per month through the school year and most of the summer break (Mayy-August). The relationship was GREAT, the sex was AMAZING and up to 3 years down the line, things were FANTASTIC. This girl was waking up singing songs about me lol

Then about a year and a half ago. This guy entered her life. As once being a decent PUA myself, I can sense one when I see one. This was the year I had just finished school and was working and I didn't really have the option of flying to FL that often. Also, she was in her Senior year and was working on her an undergrad "thesis". Needless to say, the trips were not that frequent. As soon as this guy (lets call him Joe) entered her life, things changed. I'm not going to go into the minute details, but he played the game well. VERY WELL. He instilled doubt in the relationship, isolated her, and pretty much had her mind turned into chop suey. He was in complete control with her. My efforts to 'show her light' were fruitless and tension started rising in our relationship. Yes, I forgot the rules, and made mistakes. Panic kicked in and my basic instincts told me mess this guys face up. Despite the insistence from my gf that he was "just a friend". Anyway, we grew VERY distant... But then one day a miracle happened, a random girl contacted my GF.... Apparently Joe had broken this girl up with her GF, played mind games with her, completely dominated her and used her for money, sex, etc. Until he was done and ready to move on to the next one.

This girl told my GF all the 'tricks' he used and my GF was surprised to see that he had been trying to isolate her from me and the rest of her close friend group (that, btw, all hate this guy). Anyway, she disconnected him completely from her life... He was shocked, kept trying for a couple of weeks, and then finally gave up. However, the one year of tension and arguing created by this guy left a mark on the relationship....

We ended up going on a break. This is where you come in Seddit! This girls knows me in and out. She knows how I operate, how I seduce, how i do EVERYTHING. So none of my tricks will work. I need advice and I need to get this girl back. Maybe its just the alpha in me that doesn't want to lose or maybe its something else. The only thing I know is that I genuinely care for this girl.

Ever since we broke up, I've just been keeping busy, partying it up with friends. I get lots of opportunities to close, but I abort half way... Everyone gives me different advice.... From the feedback I get from common friends... This girl clearly still cares about me... she wants to "sort herself out and get back together"... but I know for a fact the distance and lack of communication will kill all chances.

I need a game plan. I need to play the game like its never been played before. I need you, Seddit.

tl;dr Lost girlfriend of 4 years due to interference from random mPUA. mPUA out of the picture. Need to get her back.

Edit 1: For those of you thinking this... no, she didn't cheat on me. But did admit that Joe did get into her head and she did develop feelings for him more than those for a 'friend'.
