Any (publicly) Asperger mPUAs?

I look back on how I was before pickup, and I'm pretty sure I had aspergers. My parents even think so. Or I could have just been the typical Asian engineer. I don't know. But I did start off knowing very little about social interaction and read the game, and read a book on the mystery method. That old school formulaic style of pickup is probably appealing to aspies. My first approach involved me running routines back to back and I was able to get a number and a date at the county fair. By the time we got to the fair, I had run out of routines and the whole thing became awkward and silent. And the whole time I was lost in my own thoughts, it was terrible. After a short relationship with someone who had bpd, which made me really think about how influential our brain is in affecting our perceived reality, and picking up books like power of now, I got back into pickup. Around this point I think I hit a point where I no longer had social anxiety and no longer felt like I had to consciously process social interactions. I don't think I would've got here without pickup so maybe pickup is the cure for aspergers!

I was diagnosed with NLD when I was 10 (16 now). Not Aspergers, but it still stunted my social life for a long time. It's a Nonverbal Learning Disability, which means that I am exceptionally talented with words and concrete, logical things, but I can't pick things up from just watching others. That meant I was always clueless about social cues and body language.

Until recently, I was something of a social outcast. I was always tolerated, and always had a fairly close circle of friends, but I was far from "popular." I was the geek, the awkward kid who clung to any friend he could find.

Now, though, I'm in awe of how far I've come. I've taken up acting, singing, dancing, running, and everything else I could find to become more confident and build a bigger social circle. I read books on body language, and started to see the world like I imagine "naturals" see it - but instead of acting on instinct, I have the advantage of knowing what I'm doing. I'm a completely different person. My parents and friends have been amazing, and I feel like I'm living the life that I dreamed of a few years ago.

A full scale transformation is easier than it sounds. We worry about not being able to change others' opinions of ourselves, but I've found that people - barring a few exceptions - are really rooting for you to have the best life you can.
