<p>So I was walking in the park the other day and after weeks of lurking on /r/seddit, reading MM, just finished The Game by Neil Strauss, I decided it was high time to try and game a girl. Now I thought to myself, most newbies at this stage would probably go for an HB6 or 7 right? No one starts a new game by putting the setting on extra hard mode. Well, I said to myself, fuck the rules, PUA's are exceptions. So as soon as I spottd this HB9 by herself just enjoying the scenery, I decided it was go time. I was initally there to take a jog, so I decided to go with that. I jogged past her slightly and looked over my shoulder back at her. I stopped, turned around and opened by saying, "Hey do I know you?" Of course she says no, which I quickly responded with, "Well that's gotta change." She laughed and told me her name. I shook her hand but didn't tell her mine, I was waiting for her to ask the obvious.

HB9: Well aren't you going to tell me your name?
Me: Ehh... I don't think you earned it quite yet.
HB9: What! Since when do people have to earn the right to know a name?
Me: I can see that you haven't met guys like me before.
HB9: Haha I guess not.
Me: So what are you doing here by yourself? Don't you have friends?
HB9: I could say the same to you.
Me: I'm here to maintain this body. It was a gift from the Gods themselves.
HB9: Haha! I didn't think people still believed in polytheism.
Me: Hey, when Zeus is your father, you better believe.
HB9: Oh my gosh, now you're saying you're Hercules? I think the story of Narcissisus better fits you.
Me: Pfft. Please. That guy has nothing on me; you'd never catch me drowning because my own reflection.
HB9: Oh I hope not.
Me: Yeah, I know how to swim.
HB9: Haha! Oh my god I should have seen that coming.
Me: So listen, I'd love to stick around and chat more but as you can see, points to myself this body doesn't take care of itself.
HB9: Wait! Just stick around and keep me company a few more minutes, I was supposed to meet my boyfriend here like 10 minutes ago, he should be here any minute.
Me: I would, I really would, but I don't want to make him jealous. Well I'll see you around I guess.
HB9: Alright fine... wait, you still haven't told me your name!
Me: You still haven't earned it.

As you can see, I still need a lot of work, but I felt like that had very good results for a first time approach, especially since the chemistry seemed very natural. I would've gone further, but when she mentioned her boyfriend I kind of froze up. I have no idea what to do with girls that have boyfriends.
