So today I went down to the mall and it was pretty empty, being a monday and all. Want to feel like a rapist? Try this: See a girl you want to open at the end of a long, empty hallway walking towards you and try to open her. Bonus points if you're on opposite sides of the hallway and you have to cross to her side.
First, I went to a clothing store. Opened a girl outside my fitting room who was waiting for her friend that was trying things on. I asked her how my shirts looked a couple of times. Lots of giggling from her which I took as an IOI. But, it turned out the person in the fitting room was a tall ass dude that I assume was her BF.
Next, talked to the fitting room attendant to get advice on my shirts. Some small talk but no seduction occurred. I try to avoid #-closing store employees though because it makes it uncomfortable to go back to the store later.
Next, walked to the bookstore and stopped a girl in the hall. Asked her where the bookstore was then said, "Actually, I don't really care where the bookstore is, I just thought you were cute and wanted to talk to you."
"Oh, she said. Well, I have a husband."
Always a smart ass, I said, "OK, well let me ask you this: Have you ever thought of cheating on him?"
"No," she said and walked away. I think she only thought I was half joking, but she laughed a bit.
Next, a store employee at the bookstore. After chit chatting, noticed a ring on her finger and said fuck that.
Next, an asian girl outside looking at the mall map. I said hello and asked if I could get advice on my shirt selection (I was carrying around my bag from the clothing store). She turned out to be more FOBby than I anticipated and I was having trouble shifting the conversation away from how my shirts looked. On the other hand, it did keep her there until I ran out of shirts. I couldn't figure out how to transition into small talk.
That was the end of my day gaming. No numbers but it was easy to type up so I thought I'd leave this FR here. I think I need to work on flirting more. Especially in a way that says, "I'm cute" as opposed to a way that says, "You're cute." The former is a DHV, I assume.
