Ok, I'm not a really good writer so I'll try to stick to what I remember without any added fluf.

I met her in the subway. We were on the platform waiting for the subway and it was acting up, so I "opened her" with a "situational opener" about "does this always happens?" She had good posture, was smiling, warm, good looks and looking confident, so, I'd say she's an HB8.

I didn't say to myself "Ok, I need a situational opener", I just am able now to categorize it as one. So, I continued talking to her while making sure to get some kino in, which is still something that I am not quite used to. It doesn't come across as weird, but I'm sure I could push it a bit more. So, the easiest for me is touching the arm "to put more emphasis on a point". And the more I do it, the more natural it seems. And I kind of like all the touching. Anyways, she didn't resist but didn't return the kino. I asked for her number and got it before she got off. Better try than regret it, right?

So, I wait 2 days to call her, and when she picks up the phone, she sound weird and says that she was sleeping because she was tired, and tell me she'll call me back in about an hour. I don't have any problems with it so I say great. And we hang up. Just them I'm wondering is it was afc because she was then in control but I let it go. She doesn't call back, I don't text her or try to call her back. I just let it go. The next day, at about 1pm she text me back saying she's sorry because she didn't call me back and that I can call her that night. I don't because I'm busy. The next day, she text me again asking if I got the message from the previous day.

I call her that night. I ask her out for coffee. (I know it's a lame date, but, I had no other idea, I didn't want it to turn into a limiting belief and I know that where I was taking her, I could sit side by side.) She says that she can't really because she has to read stuff for her job in two days. She aks if I can in 3 days, I say I'm too busy. She suggests a walk in a tourist spot, but, I'm busy that weekend. I try to come up to a way to take control back and say a time, keep some long pause without panicking, and before I can think of anything, she gives in and say that "I made her interested with the original idea and she want to". I know she doesn't have a car so I say I'm going to pick her up. Ask for her address, she gives it.

I get to her place, and get out, knock on her door. I greet her with a hug and kisses on each cheek. (At that point I'm wondering if this sets to mood too much as a "friend thing" rather than a date) I drive her to the coffee place and we go sit outside, she spills some of her coffee on the table so I tell her to sit on the same side as me.

This is where I'm not sure what I should have done. I didn't try to steer the conversation anywhere specific but I made her talk about herself. I think I should have reacted more negatively to at least some of the thing she said, but, there was a lot of who she is and what she said that was ok with me. I didn't really neg her or anything because I might have been too focused on what she said. It was good conversation, but, nothing with a sexual frame or anything that heavy. It waddled one or two time on sex topics, but it didn't stay long. I did some light touching of the arms, and made our legs touch a bit. She didn't resist anything and was enjoying herself. I also tried to touch her lower back when guiding her through doors.

The café was closing so we went for a walk just around the corner. Talked some more, more touch of the arms, but can't do much more while walking in a huge open space. Lead the walk all the way. We sat on a bench, talked about our places, and she kept saying things to which I kept answering "my place too" at some point I just went "Ok, you won't believe me so let me show you" got up, gave my hand out. She grabbed it, got up, followed, but she wouldn't keep my hand, she'd kind of shy away from that and let it go. She did follow and she was up to it. But, I didn't felt she was opening up physically. Anyways, we went to my place, she liked it, but nothing happened and she seemed to be hurried to go back. It's as if she did want to come, but once there she realized "Omg, I'm on a first date with a guy I don't know and I'm already at his place."

Anyways, I drove her back to her place and had two kisses on the cheeks which I guess it means it didn't blow her off completely, but might also means she almost sees me as a friend.

What I'm wondering is, why didn't she open up physically but she felt safe enough to go to my place?

Not enough attraction too much confort?

It's because of the "way she is" or is that a limiting belief?

And what should I do next? I was thinking about complete radio silence for 2 days and then maybe tell her I'm going to a place she said she wanted to go and invite her. Or should I pick a place that doesn't have anything with what she wanted to do and invite her. Or it's a lost cause? (I don't believe in a lost cause because I might as well ask her anyways, at worst she'll say no, like for the number. Worst that can happen is a no.)

Also, while trying to refine your game, what's the best way to be self-learning? How can I find out easelier what are my sticking points and what I could improve? It is one thing to know how to improve, but I need to know first what to improve.

Thanks everyone

TL;DR: Got a girl's number on subway, took her out for coffee, got back to my place, nothing happened. I posted and FR and you read the TL;DR: and still wonder why you don’t know the details… lol
