To be honest id reevaluate the claim that you "know" seduction if you can't even act on a girl who is interested. You sound like a keyboard jockey who did all the easy things.

I think your simply over thinking things. Most women you meet are awkward humans the same as you and its simply up to you to steer the interaction into more intimate places.

Start assuming attraction mentally. If you are as awesome as you describe yourself why wouldn't a girl want to get to know you better?

Assume Attraction.

If you train yourself to think that every girl is trying to get into your pants, you will see these situations for what they are. Just convince yourself that everyone asking you for a light, or for directions or anything else is doing so to bang you.

Even if you feel happy and on top of the world, do you think you are worthy of their sexual interest? Do you feel entitled to having beautiful women want to have sex with you just for pleasure?

That is what you need to work through, in my opinion. If you can really believe it, then fake it, drill it into your head when you are talking to a girl and over time internalize it.

I have lurked around here for a while, read the side bar, read book after book, video after video and podcast after podcast. Yet there is something that is stopping me from having what I want.

That's because reading the sidebar, book after book and video after video is not going out and actually doing the thing.

Stop assuming you'll just be able to do this stuff because you've read it in a book. I probably have the least AA of anyone I know and I still have moments like this. The point is that you put yourself in the situation and you recognize you missed a chance. That alone is far better than the majority of guys who don't even realize the opportunity in front of them.

Get it right the next time and walk her. Or don't. Either way don't beat yourself up over stupid shit and act like there is something wrong with you. You're human, we all pussy out at times. Just work on doing it less than you do currently and you're on your way ;-)

Bingo. This stood out to me. Maybe you have your inner game in place, maybe you've convinced yourself that you have. Either way, it does seem from the outside that you are afraid of rejection.

How do you get over it? Simple, go out with the intention of actually hooking up with women. All these 'missed opportunities' that you are talking about are when you gave yourself excuses on why hitting on the girl wouldn't work. If you go out with the express intention of hitting on girls, you'll have to make a decision to shit or get off the pot.

If you chicken out even then, voila! You've discovered that your inner game is nowhere near as complete as you thought it was.

Not that I'm an expert but maybe you shouldn't worry about if she likes you or not. Just pretend you're friends, equals, and talk about things you like and have in common. Keep it fairly short if you're feeling anxious but ask for her number and take it from there. Once you're out the door number in hand or not you can breathe, relax and think about your next step, where you want to go for dinner or what to do better next time.
