I would skip the whole "good opening text" thing and go for a straight voice-call inviting her for a coffee/tea/whatever. something not worth being called date, but getting some face-to-face time to get to know her (and likewise).

Don't try. Be yourself. Don't seek her validation. Take her off the pedestal. Don't use an opener, it will likely come off as contrived. Also, don't text her. Call her and say "how's it going?"

Ask your friend what she's interested in and make your first call simply saying hey, I was telling friend about this thing I want to do and he couldn't go cause of his blah, but said you might be intesredtrf. I can tell you more about it tonight if your free for drinks/voffee etc.

Goal is to get off phone, get in person, and make calling her merely a step towards somethibg bigger rather than an end to itself. Downlmay the call, downplay the first date even as ita just an "informal" to talk more about the other one, etc.
