Hey gang,

I've been living in South Korea for about a month now. I've been going out a lot, and I've been very pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to meet girls here. Pretty much every girl I've talked to is receptive, and I've email-closed (don't have a phone yet, waiting on my immigration card) several girls.

My problem is that I'm scared to move forward. None of the girls I've met have floored me (though they are all nice and attractive) enough to want to become exclusive, and all I've been hearing is that if you hook up with girls here they quickly become very attached.

So I suppose I'm looking for advice on how to make it clear that I'd like to pursue a casual relationship. Back home (US), I feel like it's almost assumed to be casual unless stated otherwise. Here, though, I think the opposite is true. And I'm not so sure girls would react well to being bluntly told that I want to keep it casual.

So, anyone have any ideas? I'd be particularly interested in hearing from TofuTofu, as I recall you were sarging for a while in Japan and the cultural norms are somewhat similar there.
