Ok so we've had two dates (I've already posted twice about this r'ship, last one here) and I'm a little confused as to what to do.

We've been messaging back and forth a bit, and we were supposed to have lunch tomorrow. Doesn't really escalate things and something important came up so I had to cancel - ok, fine. I don't do that generally but I had to.

She sent back a message explaining that she was on night shift the entire week and then visiting a family member but "there will be other nights"...

What the heck do I say? I mean I suppose another week isn't a long time but at this pace the whole thing is just going to peter out. I know pushing is probably just going to turn her off but I'm wondering if I should send a disinterested text, call her and chat or lightly chastise and tell her I'm sure she can find some time.

Should I keep a text dialogue open in the meantime?

Ideas?
