Are the "Mistery Method" and "The game" outdated?

Like these guys have all said, nothing has really changed. Most people don't still follow Mystery Method word-for-word (and I agree with that, because there's other shit involved, and shit you can do differently), but if you can actually read between the lines of other people's materials, you'll see that most of it still follows the basic points of Mystery Method- it's just reworded and put into a more "agreeable" argument.

I think a lot of people turned away from Mystery mainly because he focused specifically on bar/club game, and he focused specifically on doing magic tricks and shit, since that's what he did himself. He also focused on peacocking and some other shit that isn't exactly necessary. So other guys came around and promoted different products that contradict the Mystery Method, and that's not a problem, because other techniques will definitely work. But I haven't seen any technique that really deviates from it to the point where it's actually "different"- even Wygant does a lot of the shit Mystery did, he just rewords it and handles things from a different perspective.

Regardless, Magic Bullets is still widely recommended around here, even if MM isn't. You'll find everything getting recommended around here, because different people relate to different guys more than others. They're all still good to look at.

They work. Regardless if there are better methods or approaches out there, these work.

I think most people most past them and want to say their are outdated while ignoring everything they learnt from them that they have not gotten elsewhere or in such an easy to understand package.

Just don't treat them like dogma, but as one groups guide

If it worked well 8 years ago, and it did, it works now. You won't be losing out.

Personally, reading magic Bullets didn't impart anything I didn't already gain from the above. It felt like a repackagaing if I remember.

Don't take forum jockeys too seriously. Nothing is really 'outdated' as such. Slighting previous products is a way of increasing interest in their own, new product. That doesn't necessarily mean it isn't better either, but it's disingenious to claim stuff is outdated. Especially when so many of these books actually build upon the Mystery Method.
