Let me elaborate: I'm 17, it's summer and it's a touristic town. I work in a minimarket with my brother and another female coworker. Many times per day hot girls come around with their families or friends to buy ham/cheese, bread, alcohol, tampons, cereals... Whatever you could find in a minimarket.

I'm a very talkative person and I try to start smalltalk with every single client at the store all the time. When I've got some interest the typical conversation goes like this:

"Hey! May I help you with anything?"

  • "Yes blah blah blah / no I'll look".

"Here, I'll show you" or I just let them look around.

Usually I'd try to make some situational comment at this point, like if it's bread and milk I'd say "nice breakfast... Count me in!" or such. My problem is when it comes down to getting something out of it. Sometimes I'd try to take it a step further and say:

"What on earth are you doing here and not at the beach?"

  • "Oh I was just going there/ we're just coming back/ blah blah blah".

"What beach do you go to?"

  • "x beach"

"Aah, I go to 'y' beach.. Great people/waves/ whatever".

And BAM it usually gets stuck there and I say "It'd be 39.50$". I'd give the change and well, "Alright, have a nice day!" or another situational comment.

I usually try to hold a strong eye contact with my target but that's the most I can do.

Kinoing is absolutely forbidden. Can't touch the clientele inside the store. A hand on the upper back is already too much. Also consider that most of these interactions last about 5 minutes at most and there are other people at the store or in line for the cashier...

How would you go about getting numbers or dates out of these interactions? Help a rookie out!

P.S: I've been reading a bit and I'm at the 7th video into the Blueprint, but I've never really sarged. I have noticed more positive interactions and outcomes from interactions with everyone ever since I started reading this.

Edit: It kinda pisses me off that I can see some girls looking at me with that look and that I don't really know what to do except for maintaining eye contact and being myself (as I described myself above). Sometimes I just think "Fuck man this girl is SO checking me out" and I'd love to say "Hey, wanna go out sometime?", but I feel as if I needed to build some comfort first. Plus it'd just look awful infront of our elder clientele.
