Hello peeps. So two days ago I'm practicing some vaults at the park (shirtless), and a HB7 passes by walking her dog. As I jump above a platform she says "Wow, that must take alot of skill." At this point I didn't even realize this was an opportunity as I was too busy doing my own shit. Naturally, I go into honest-AFC mode and say "Nah it's actually quiet simple". She tells me she did gymnastics when she was little and some other info I can't remember now. I'm still sanding on said platform and not getting down or leaning in to hear her. And watch this, as I'm about to say something, she leaves me talking and says "I'm gonna go walk the dog" and goes. I shrug it off as she wasn't worth it and continued with my own thing.

After a few minutes she comes back and starts talking to me right at where we left. Now, I may be stupid but not that stupid. I realize there might be something going on here so I actually get close to her, relocate to a nearby tree with some shadow, and start talking to her about school, what she does. When she tells me she's studying to be a designer, she didn't stop talking even for a breath. She started talking to me about how art communicates emotions and shit and guys, I didn't believe it, but when you get to this sort of conversation you won't have ANY trouble keeping it up. We then talked about our travels (funny since we were both 18-17) and we found out we both were at Barcelona so we kinda laughed and talked about how awesome their architecture is. At this point I sit down and start petting her dog (since it wasn't scared of me anymore), and everything went down the toilet. I expected her to sit down with me so we could keep on chatting and maybe add some kino (I did not kino at all till now, not even a hi-5). She did not sit down. After about a minute I stood back up and said "hold on" and walked over 2 meters to get my water bottle. She's walking after me and as I grab my water and turn around she continues walking and says "Bye". I'm left there shrugging like Wtf?

Things I think I did wrong:

No kino whatsoever.

Didn't demonstrate leadership, she totally cut me off during the whole conversation and would barley let me speak.

Didn't get her number early on.

Is there anything you guys would like to add? Why'd she leave like that? Did I fail SO miserably to create any sort of attraction?
