Since high school I've been very successful when it comes to closing with the women around me. I've not necessarily had a tremendous amount of success in other areas of my life, but picking up women has always come naturally to me. This makes me the odd-ball among my close friends and one of them recently asked me to give him pointers. We're in our late twenties now and he's been single for several years and has not shown much proficiency with anything beyond beginner level interaction with women but he suddenly made a choice to get better and I certainly want to help with that.

Here's the problem: I've never studied any of the PUA techniques or even been to this site until recently. I know he reads a lot of the articles and responses here and now he asks me questions using the lingo that seems to be very prevalent here and among other PUA materials. I'm sure there is a lot of good information on here and that the techniques work, but should I take the time to learn them to teach him in these terms or should I just stick with what I know?
