You know the ones. They're basically mirrors of the girl they want, essentially restating what she says. It's not independent, and while in rare cases it pays off in the short term, it almost never works in the long term. It's because they copy the girl's opinion, isn't it? All they do is say what she says. It bores her after a while. She wants something new; that's why she's looking for a guy. Stay with me here. On the other hand, there's guys who are just disagreeable. Assholes, I guess we can call them? That's probably what the Nice Guy would see them as. They don't fully agree with the girl. Allow me to explain: they're not very common considering it really doesn't pay off. The specific asshole type I'm talking about is the ones who never seem to sympathize with the girl. She's happy and bubbly? Well then this guy is sad and misanthropic. She's lonely and wants somebody to mope to? Well this guy is way too happy to deal with that. They won't get along. So if you take the opposites of what these two are doing, you get a guy who challenges her view but can successfully empathize or sympathize with her mood at the time. Basically, a success. The Nice Guy only had one of these. The specific type of asshole I was referring too cannot sympathize or empathize, but perhaps he could challenge her views, maybe just in spite of her. He wouldn't be successful either. He's an asshole. So, in order to be a successful guy you need to mix a trait of the Nice Guy and a trait of the Asshole/Challenger. Does this make any sense to you guys? I might just be rambling.

TL;DR - Try to match her mood but challenge her opinions.
