As for why you're noticing this: the redhead part is just dumb luck. You're successful with them because you go after them and it works out, feeding future confidence when approaching new redheaded women. The qualities they name about you are almost assuredly qualities attractive in men to most women, the hue of their hair irrelevant.

If you're finding the women have similar personalities and you draw them in, it's because that personality meshes well with yours. I'm large, aggressive, and a bit of a bully, though I mean it lightheartedly -- so the women who are receptive to me tend to be ones whose characters approve of big, aggressive men.

Actually, same here -- I find that I tend to attract petite girls who don't use a lot of make up. It's more likely that this happens because that specific type of girls tend to like me than because I like that specific type of girls.

I don't have a type, but i always seem to hook up with Hispanic girls. I'm a white dude Brown hair blue eyes average height, I kind of have a thing for blondes but my last 4 or so hook ups have been Hispanic.

Again I don't have a type, I'm not picky :P maybe they are the ones with a type.

Sounds like it could be genetic matching. People are often attracted to others who have physical features which compliment their own. I think there's been some scientific research into this, but no ones figured it out completely.

Doesn't seem to be any real pattern.
