I'll keep the this to a mini field report as its not too exciting.

So typical large college house party. I'm talking with a friend (female; she's my wing) at the beer pong table. She wins and swaps her partner for me. We ask who's gonna play us. Nobody steps up. I eye an HB8 make strong eye contact and she then becomes interested in playing, asks her friends to be her partner. Never finds a partner. A random dude overhears and says he would be her partner but she denies him.

Later I open her friend HB6, I open her just due to logistics of the room, would have had to talk around her friend to talk to her. Anyways, friend and I talk and I quickly involve my target(HB8) in the conversation. The three of us talk for a bit. It comes up that HB6 has been to my hometown. We have a chat about my town and that's where HB8 starts becoming less responsive.

I leave for more beer and to talk to other people. Wing wants to leave so I return to HB6 and HB8. I make plans with them to go to a bar on Tuesday.

TL;DR: Opened a set, HB6 seems to have called dibs on me forcing HB8 to back down. Made plans for bars in a few days. Do not want HB6.

Now here's where I need some help.

1)I think HB6 kinda called dibs on me and so HB8 backed off. How do I disqualify HB6 and still have a good time with her and HB8 on Tuesday.

2)Should I wait to make a move on HB8 till another night so that HB6 doesn't get pissed/sad. Obviously this will be dependent on how well #1 goes.

3)Also Do I text both or one of them to reaffirm plans/time was up in the air?

Update 1: Its Tuesday 3pm now. No answers from seddit yet. Gonna shoot both a text saying "Hey ready for [name of bar] tonight? I'll meet ya there at 9." I'm planning on using some very small disqualifications (I'm dog person, you're cat...basically having opposite viewpoints on a few small things) on HB6 while working hard to get HB8 to qualify herself.

Update 2: Well, texted both HB6 and HB8. HB8 did not respond, HB6 responded that she forgot about the plans and had a final the next morning. I had a feeling they were not thinking ahead and the next week was finals when we made plans. She said they go out often and I said I live very close to all the bars, hit me up next time you are out.
