It's old news that a photo is worth 1k words, but I haven't heard this applied yet to text game. I've been looking for an article, but I can't find one, so I figured I'd write it :)

Photos are an excellent way of building a relationship with a girl when you're not around each other. A well-done photo has the same power and subtley of good body language; with no words, the message can speak directly to her emotional core. Phones with dope cameras are ubiquitous (fun fact: for 80% of people who have bought the iPhone 4, it's the best camera they've ever owned). It's really not hard to take great photos these days, and in my experience they make girls melt.

Broadly speaking, there are 2 types of photos:

Photos about "us" If you took a photo with her the last time you were together, then a couple days later you can text it to her in the middle of the day (imagine her picking up her phone at her desk and smiling). If you walk by that place you went on your first date, you can snap a picture. If you see some fat kid eating your girl's favorite ice cream, snap a pic.

These are all ways of saying "Hey baby, just thinking about you." You need to calibrate your own relationship to know when it's cool and sexy to say that kind of thing vs. weird and needy. You can always take a picture, and then text it to her later if it just doesn't make sense now.

Dope Photos: These are photos that show where you are, what cool things you're up to, etc. These are great in a wide variety of situations: if you're out of town, or having a night with the dudes, or just on the bus back home and you see something cool. In general, it's more important that these are actually aesthetically good, since you won't earn automatic brownie points like you do when its a Photo About Us (see above). These photos also communicate a little less of the "Hey baby, just thinking about you" and are more of a "Hey, how's it goin?"
