...that "looks" in a man are more important than the seduction ethos generally communicates.

but i put "looks" in quotes for a reason: most things i've read here stress the importance of nice clothing and fitness/going to the gym. that only leaves facial handsomness in the "looks" equation. and frankly, men get more leeway there than women -- most men, big nose or not, balding or not, are going to look nice in expensive tasteful clothing and with a fit body.

maybe there are some extreme cases of chinlessness or acne or eyes too close together, but for the most part i think men have it pretty easy in the area of facial beauty judgements.

so, i think looks are very important to being attractive as a man, and the seduction community knows it -- they just reframe it as fitness and wardrobe, with facial attractiveness remaining mostly a non-issue.

thassall...maybe not that profound an observation shrug

but i do hear a lot about how looks are of secondary importance at best, and i think they may be more crucial than some PUAs allow.
