It's not. Besides, the business model for gurus is bootcamps and training.

Not to mention that, considering the modern seduction community evolved out of a similar open forum, it'd be quite hypocritical to get upset.

There are literally hundreds if not thousands of free articles and videos on working out online. But personal trainers still do ok. Some people can teach themselves guitar with just free info. Most people learn faster with a good teacher. With anything, you're paying more for personalized feedback. You're also paying for a little handholding.

Here's the thing.

The business model of guru's and pick up was never really substantial anyway. They were/are all just preying on insecurities if you're bad with girls, and selling a "jedi" frame of mind if you're already good with girls and trying to get better. The only group of people their stuff really helps is people who have limiting beliefs about problems that don't exist.

If you were already good with girls and were trying to get better, they try to make you think there's this deeper level mumbo jumbo which may very well be true, but most of it isn't actually useful, or is so convoluted , ever finding yourself in a situation were it could actually be useful, or usable information to you will likely never happen. The problem with really attractive guys who start having problems is they've costed on their looks all of their life and when they hit an impass, they realize they are nothing without their body.

If you were bad, they tell you there is this mountain of crap you have to learn...you have to go out 1000 times a day if you want any hope of attracting women etc. I've gotten to the point where listening to seminars and shit actually makes me accept my mediocre life and failure more because the alternative seems fucking impossible.

At the end of the day, the only two things that matter is whether you look good physically, and whether you actually like yourself. If you like your inside and you like your outside, you're social problems will auto-correct.

I saw this happen first hand with my fat friend who lost like 100lbs. When he was large, he was a basement-playing D&D-nobody. When he lost wait and learned to love himself, a rockstar lifestyle was practically handed too him. His game would make /r/seduction readers jump off a cliff, but he still get's action (by relatively hot chicks...HB 7-8) regularly.

That's my opinion though...love to hear comments.

Not really. What you get here is not the same experience, wisdom and quality from that of a bootcamp. It's like if you wanted to be a basketball player, and read a bunch of reddit posts about basketball, compared to going to a Bball camp run by a professional.
