Hey guys, this is a work in progress.

HB9 hostess of place across the street from major hotel & tower downtown. Approach doorman to get menu. Given dinner menu, ask HB9 for drinks menu. She places it on top of my dinner menu, "They look the same."

"This one's thinner."

"Just like you."

Begin banter. She tells me her jobs, school, and living situation after I tell her the story of Harold the Jewelry Buyer after noticing her nice earrings.

When she's busy tending guests I'm entertaining doorman.

"You ever spot a guy and imagine your takedown?"

I tell him speed might give me an advantage.

"What are you a ninja?"

"What just cause I'm asian? You're the one wearing black."

Lady enters place. I ask HB9, "You ever watch entourage?"

"Yes."

"That lady looked like Babs."

She opens up.

More banter. She's in receptive silence.

"So what's your name?"

"Arielle."

"I knew an Arielle. She was a bitch."

"How did she spell it?"

"A R I E L L E"

She tells me that's how she spells hers.

I tell her I have to catch my train. She turns around. I leave.

I told HB9 I'd bring some friends from work to that place. She told me she works on the weekend. I said I'm home on the weekend. She told me she works on the weekdays.
