Getting girls to go on dates is actually the hardest part. Once she is on a date, I figure she likes me and now I just try not to screw it up. That said, if you are a "nice guy", then try to always advance the interaction. Lots of nice guys get caught up with not leading the girl. Remember, she wants to be lead, wants to have sex with you, wants to have fun.

I always try to experiment with saying/ doing stuff, it is crazy how just being curious about social interactions will help you to try new things. The best is reading about something and then trying it. THAT is a fucking rush!

One time I was on a first date, we had spent about an hour together the first time we met, so we still knew very little about each other. Anyways, I met her near a park I liked and figured we would walk around the park and then maybe get something to eat, then try to get her to my place. That was my outline. So, she shows up and I take the lead and suggest taking a walk in the park.

I had recently been reading about push/pull techniques and hot/cold stuff. So, I said fuck it let's try it out. We get to the park and while walking there start kino-ing a little by brushing up against her and seeing her reaction. It was good, she basically just kept walking. I knew she was attracted to me because if she wasn't she would have moved away from me, like people do when you brush up against another guy accidentally. So, after a few minutes of walking through the park and gradually increasing the amount of time I brushed up against her, I started holding hands with her.

Then I started the hot/cold stuff. I would hold her hand for a few seconds, then through it away and walk faster or slower like I was looking at something or whatever. I could tell this was having a confusing/seducing affect on her. Every time I re-engaged with my hand (always my choice), she enthusiastically held it.

Finally, I threw her hand away and sat down on a bench. Now, most guys immediately put their arms around girls on dates, but I waited a minute or two to put my arm around her, casually but strongly, like she didn't have a choice.

Then I saw she was ready, so I kissed her. Now, the whole time we were walking I was saying things like "it is so nice to be friends with you" and "I am so glad to make a friend like you". So, I was giving her mixed signals and it was driving her crazy. Finally after we kissed close, she said excitedly "is this what you always do to friends!". I laughed and said no. Then we started making out a lot!! But I kept up the hot/cold stuff for a while just because she had responded so well.

And finally, we got something to eat and I had decided by that time not to try to f-close because she was extremely conservative and I knew it would be pushing it, for her, on a first date, but I did f-close her on the second date!

TL;DR Hot/cold technique worked GREAT first time I really tried it and f-closed on second date

The goals of a date are fairly simple when viewed as a seduction (which is what we do here). Your goal is to smoothly lead the woman through a series of interpersonal situations that end up with her on top of your dick.

Now that is put crudely, but it's basically the truth. No, you aren't supposed to "get to know her." Well, not right at first. You listed the basic steps in the standard "M3" seduction model, but out of order. Your method of comfort-attraction-seduction will never get to attraction and you will end up in the friend zone, because you got her comfortable with you, before you got her attracted to you. Now you are a Nice Guy, and her friend.

The basic idea is that you do it in this order: attraction-comfort-seduction. You have to flirt first, then get her comfortable with you after she is attracted.

Read some of the stuff in the sidebar, try to get a basic handle on what happens in a seduction, and then try it in practice. Then you can learn to lead the way, instead of just hoping you're heading down the path in the right direction.

Personally? I would sit next to my date and kino because that will communicate your intentions and show your interested. I found hopping around place to place to work. Make sure you lock lips that very date and just have fun.

I know you're looking for specifics, but in reality specifics do not work. In one word what you are looking for in a date, or in any date, is to escalate, escalate, escalate. Now you're going to ask: escalate to what? And that is something that you and only you have the answer to. These are some of the possible answers:

you want to marry this woman (improbable, but I had to put it here)
you want to have a ONS, in this case you want to escalate to f-close (this is the other end of the spectrum from the prior item)
you want her to become your FWB
you want to date this woman regularly, but not exclusively
you want to date this woman regularly and exclusively

And of course are are situations that are combinations of 2 or more items above, or in-between these situations.

In any way, at any interactions you want to:

be confortable and playful
you want her to be confortable and playful
kino kino kino kino, more and more, quantity and quality

I know you said that you are inexperienced, read and re-red any and all material in the sidebar, and most importably go out there, practice practice practice, it's like learning to ride a bike, you're going to get bruised here and there, some might hurt more then others, but sooner or later you'll get it and after that, you'll never forget how to ride a bike.

Wrong assumption. Learning theory from the Internet or from a book makes up only 50%. Actual real-life practice makes up the other 50%.

It's good that you notice your sticking points. It's bad that you think that getting an answer from the Internet will fix a problem that will only be fixed by simply doing it in-person.
