(I'm trying to get better at FRs so advice is appreciated) Thanks to Ballsohardhomie for the "Shut up and kiss her" post. HB7 was great texter. Sassy, a little foul mouthed, and fun. When we actually meet for late drinks I'm pleasantly surprised to see she's very attractive but painfully shy in person. I made some small talk and try not force anything. When I'd run out of shit to say I called her out and teased her about clamming up. She still seemed into me but I could'nt get her out of her shell so I suggested a change of venue. We took a long walk and talked some more. I was close to blowing myself out and telling myself it wasn't a good time to kiss her yet. Fear of rejection fucking with me. So we walk back to her car and I go in for a few kisses. She accepts but it's closed mouth and a little awkward. I tell her I'll call her next week for another date. By chance I meet up with a few friends and spend the rest of the night out having drinks with them, brooding over my failure. When I got home I remembered the ShutUpandKissHer post and am inspired to text this: Me: I didn't mean to just peace you out. It seemed like your night was over. Did I read that wrong? Her: It's cool, i was hot, sweaty, blah blah excuse. Sorry if I was a little boring. Me: I wasn't getting much feedback when I kissed you. You're making a guy self conscious. Her: Well I wasn't sure if you were going to kiss me. I guess my mouth wasn't ready. (SHE WAS WAITING THE WHOLE TIME!) Me: (A pair of balls grows suddenly in my lap) Do over. Come back here. She lives about 20 minutes away so I was surprised when she said: For real? Sounds amazing but I'm a little tired (shit test) Maybe for a little while.

She gets to my place and it's sexy time in about 20 minutes. So moral of the story: Yes, shut up and kiss her.
