I met this girl off of okcupid (met as in just in text, not in real life). We had a good conversation going online, then she gave me her phone number. We texted back and forth for a bit, then she stopped responding randomly. Here is a text transcript:

Me: Hey, want2meetprettylady here. What's up?

Her: Hey hey! nothing, stretching about to shower. be back in a bit.

(Next day)

Her: hey want2meetprettylady, sorry I sort of passed out last night. hows it going?

Me: Hey. It happens. I'm good, about to go food shopping, I have nothing of substance left in my fridge. How are you?

Her: on the train going home. brb.

Her: sorry went into tunnel. howre you doing

Me: I'm good, I'm good. Heading out right now. How are you? How was your day?

Her: it was good. (long response errands, had some fun, ready to pass out)

(The conversation is pretty boring to reread, let alone retype. We texted back and forth while I was food shopping. I don't like food shopping, she does. She doesn't like clothes shopping. Not super interesting conversation, but it was company)

(Then the conversation is about our diet, things we eat. Me living alone, her with her parents. We talk about our siblings, she is the oldest, I am the youngest.)

One important part of the above summarized conversation is this:

Her: not much variety in you diet huh? do you cook mostly?

Me: I don't know what's considered variety. I have fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, and a few other things. I don't know what else I could get. Come cook a new dish with me, my diet is getting stale.

She responds, but doesn't acknowledge that I asked her to come over.

Then the conversation is about our siblings. She gets in trouble because she's the oldest

Her: not always. I shouldn't exaggerate. and sometimes I am to blame... :p

Me: Lol I know how that goes.. Except I was the one who could do no wrong

Me: So you're a trouble maker?

This conversation has all been in the span of a few hours. No response after this text.

1 Day later I texted her "Ay" No response.

3 more days later, I text "Hey what's up". She responds right away "not much how are you". "I'm good. Coming back from paragliding"

Her: nice. how often do you go?

Me: Whenever the weather allows. Texting and driving isn't very safe. So i'm gonna slow this down. Do you want to chill tomorrow?

No response.. several hours later she says:

Her: :) be careful! ill be honest...im drowning in work right now. going out isnt the best option for me atm, i'm sorry :(

So my thoughts are.. she stop responding abruptly. Then in the last text exchange, she took hours to respond and say no. That makes me think she isn't very interested. There is a chance she is being honest, however I don't think that's likely. It sounds like a light let down. So break it down; what could I have done/said differently? Where did I go wrong? Did I go wrong? Someone told me I didn't 'flirt' with her, let her know I'm interested.

Edit: She has deleted her okcupid account. I don't know how long ago.
