Hey guys, lurker for a little while here, decided my first post should be a FR. Anyway, on to the important stuff!

So I decided to solo it tonight, no planned wingman, no outgoing text or call to buddies to see who was going where, just wanted to test what I have absorbed here on Seddit to the test. I arrived at the college bar around 9:45-10PM and I immediately got a drink. Decided to take a step outside (bar had an outside hookah/shisha lounge) where I found my buddy and 3 HBs just chillin. I say what's up to my buddy and introduce myself to the HBs, they were all around 7ish. I shoot the shit with my friend and the closest HB who also happened to be a woman I know and have a few laughs; the other HBs were glued to their phones. As the conversation progresses, I see a set of 4 HBs, ranging from a 5 to an 8 walk in. I let them take their seats and chat it up for a few minutes before I decide to open...solo....Mind you all, this is my first time going at this without much previous success.

Anyway, I open with "Hi, I just happened to see you all walk in and I wanted to introduce myself." Pleasantries were exchanged and I got to the small chat. I try and keep the conversation centered around whomever was responding to me the best, but I try and make eye contact with HB8 the most. After a few minutes they say their friend just arrived and that they're going to go greet them. I conclude with "Well, if that ends our conversation, it was nice meeting you all and I'll see you inside!" and walk back to my previous group.

For a good 2 or so hours, I do nothing but enjoy my time with my friends and try my luck at line dancing (Asian guy trying to line dance!? What do I have to loose?) and have a great time. Then another HB8 catches my eye, this time though, I know her from a previous party. I ask her to show me how to dance, and thankfully the DJ decides to switch it up from country music to hip hop (something I'm more akin to). At this point, an AFC comes along and tries to intrude; being the gentleman I am, I let him have his shot. I let him strike out before I intervene and take over. I say into HBs ear "I'm glad I got rid of that guy, he was even starting to creep me out!" We dance a little more then due to the ambient temperature I decided to get some fresh air since I was sweating profusely.

Upon reentry to the bar, I notice all the HBs I've approached tonight have either left or have gathered around their DDs. So what do I do? Find my nearest buddy and be his wingman, which ended up in me giving another HB, this time a 7, my number. Overall, a good night I would say.

TL;DR; Had a great time sarging solo for the first time, glad that a few friends showed up throughout the night. Note to self: work on kino.
