She is not attracted to your job. She is attracted to the high-status vibe and confidence you exuded because you were so well-employed.

Don't lose that.

Your job gave your ego permission to act big and OK with yourself, but there is no reason not to act OK now that it is gone.

Males are unquestionably raised to believe that earning achievements is necessary to prove their value. Thus, males with status regain informal permission to think and act important, with formal authority and external recognition to back them up for as long as they still serve. Nevertheless, earning your self-esteem in this way is not a good idea. Besides the fact that it confuses respect with self-respect, there are many further complications.

For one, you can lose your external validation and thus your reason to act like you have value.

Most important though is that it is all unnecessary, because women do not care about how you cultivate the appearance of importance. They are only attracted to your external appearance — your dominance. Caveat: Even if you regard yourself extremely well on the inside, you still have to demonstrate your self-esteem with confident behavior for women to notice it.

Just continue to act normal. If you do that, and do not become a bitch without your little made-up job title... She will happily and obediently stay.

EDIT: And yes, needing to lie is a bitch behaviour. Use your unemployed time well and read some good books. I recommend the book "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle to enhance your frame around this issue.

Lol since when does trp say lie to your LTR for a couple of months until you can APPLY for the same type of job with a different company.

If she leaves you then fuck her man, it wasnt something in your ability to keep this job. Tell her but dont be a bitch and chill at home, go look for a job until spring when companies are hiring again for jobs in your field

can you realistically expect yourself to comfortably survive financially until your next job? If so, great, go ahead and tell her. At the end of the day, when she see's you're unconcerned cause you're gonna be just fine, then she has no worries. It's only when you're in deep shit that she loses attraction.

Hell, if you've saved enough, this is even better for your relationship seeing as how now you can have time to do all the cool traveling and hobbies you've wanted to but never had time for.

Attraction cannot be built based on what job you have. Dudes losing their gfs over a job is because they turn into mopey little bitches about it. I guess if I knew I had something tough I was gonna go through and wanted to keep the girl, I'd tell her I have some shit to take care of and disappear until it was handled or something.

Call everyone of your friends and family to see if you can get something to pay the bills in the short term

Look in the directories for stuff in your field and stuff that pays better than these bill paying necessary jobs

What’s important is not that you lost your job but how you deal with it. If you sit around drinking beers getting depressed you’re a bitch. If you go hard to find what you can and keep the bills paid and grind your way up again you’re good.

Don’t tell her until you got that filler job (even if it’s fish washing or burger flipping)

Great opportunity to test her. Let her know asap that you lost your job. See how she reacts. If she loses attraction for you or is anything other then sympathetic, then dump her. Better she leaves you now then 2 kids later and 6 years into marriage.

Maintain frame. What is your frame? Your contract came to an end, and instead of taking an extension right now, that won't pay all that great since this isn't the hiring season, you're finally getting a chance to take a leave of absence and pursue XYZ. XYZ being, education, travel, that novel you wanted to work on, whatever. Express excitement in your temporary project, and pride at your ability to take time off work from wage slavery to enhance yourself.

Finally, maintaining frame means you live your life your way, and don't worry about what some woman you're dating thinks or if she can validate you. Just be you. If she's worth having around, she'll stay around. Abundance mentality.

To lie would be immoral, not amoral.

I would highly question your assumption that you cannot get a job until the spring. Why do you say this? If this is true you need to take a long hard look at whhat industry you are in.
