So I've been reading through a lot of the Seddit posts recently, and tonight, when I went to the bar with some friends, I managed to put together enough of the tips to walk away with a rather cute girls number!

Tonight I wasn't really trying to hook up with anyone, and was just hanging loose. So when Im at the bar and I see these girls order some neon red drinks, I make a comment to them that those are the girliest drinks I've ever seen. A conversation later I bring my friends a round of pink tequilas.

Feeling good after talking to her, I see another girl wearing a derby hat, so I excuse myself from my friends by saying Im buying another round, go up to her, and tell her how she's rocking that hat. I also make sure to get her attention by touching her upper arm, and make sure to touch it while I'm talking to her. Her friends say that she's rocking that hat so hard that I should buy her a shot and I jokingly say no thanks. Then a little later, when I hear them trying to get another guy to buy them drinks, I jokingly say, "I thought I was the only guy special enough to buy you drinks."

I talked to a few more girls that night, but later I see her again talking to her friends and some dudes, so I go up to her and ask her if she's ready for that shot. She says she is and gets in the line with me, where we talk a bit and I get her name. I get her a shot and excuse myself again as I head back to my friends.

Later, at closing time, I go up to her again, tell her how I'd love to talk to her again. get her number, and even hug her before I leave. i feel friggin stoked about getting her number, and I really have to thank Seddit for getting it. Of course, Ive gotten girls numbers before and not gotten any further, but I'm gonna keep at it, and even if it doesn't work I know I'm gonna be ok, because I genuinely had fun tonight even before I got her number.
