Just broke up with someone today so I thought I would post. Obviously every situation is different but generally speaking I find that being honest and direct has and always will be the best policy. Let her know why you don't think it is working out between the both of you without blaming her or yourself for anything. Let her know that you respect her as an individual, which is why you are being direct with her with how you are feeling. Lastly, be firm, and keep it under 10 minutes. Shrug Generalized advice, but it has fit and worked in every breakup i've had and I didn't make any enemies.

Go to a public place like a coffee shop, don't get anything to drink (yet), you don't want her with a weapon in her hand, especially hot coffe; and you want to do this like taking off a band-aid, quickly! It's going to hurt no matter what, so make it quick.
the truth is that the both of you have grown apart, but as a gentleman you diffuse the blow by taking the blame, so the classic It's not you, it's me is a valid one. NEVER point out any of her faults.

If you've been seeing each other for a while, break ups often have leakages, so you might get back in bed together here and there, be a gentlemen, treat her nicely, but be a bit selfish, don't try to hard, you don't want the sex to be too good for her, makes it easy to sever things
if you are seeing someone else, do NOT mention it or hint it, or she'll go postal on you. If she tell you that she is seeing someone else, do tell her that you are happy for her, and that you are kind of seeing someone else too, even if it's a lie/

Treat her like a cum dumpster, still be nice and civil, just stop doing social activities with her, only call her for booty calls, and be selfish in sex. She'll dump you.
