The problem is that we have 70k subscribers, and only a small fraction would ever see the notice of a split or even this post suggesting one.

All they would notice is a huge lack of quality content.

We are committed to keeping seduction as a source for high quality content and leaving super beginner stuff and specific questions to askseddit (note mods can't catch everything, but you would be surprised at the huge amount of stuff that gets moved)

If people don't bother to check askseddit, that is a sign that most people don't want to spend everyday answering the same question for guys that won't actually help them.

In my opinion the split is BS. One subreddit is enough.

Unfortunately it is easier to split than to merge.
