Hitch.

Hollywood wants the movie to end with "haha, there are no fundamental rules, just be yourself! Yay!" But it doesn't. Hitch gets the girl by being himself, but he still had the confidence and connections to take her on probably the most memorable first date of her life. Alfred gets a girl that is absurdly out of his league, but she wouldn't have even noticed him if Hitch hadn't intervened. The things he tells the guys in the beginning are simple things:

when she speaks, look her in the eyes, and listen to what she's saying so you can form an actual opinion
don't cling to her arm the whole night
just because the first activity is over (the art show) doesn't mean the date is over

...and so on. He doesn't work with the guy who only wants to get laid, because he acts like a scumbag, like sex is the objective, not a byproduct of a good time.

That's what we do here; we teach guys how to talk to women without jamming up and going full-scale Awkward Penguin on anyone with two X chromosomes. A byproduct of that can be a one night stand, where two people have fun for a night and perhaps never see each other again. Another byproduct could be becoming a couple, which is what happened with me. You want a good idea of pickup, go look at Hitch from that perspective.
