She wasn't trying to pick you up. She wanted attention. Because you disagreed with her she wanted even more attention from you. In her head she was wondering why you too weren't salivating over her, and therefore wanted to know more.

She just wanted attention. Its not the same thing as a "Pick up" the way PUAs do it.
