Campus was the best time. There are so many women, men, groups walking around that you can run social experiments in between every class. Just talk to everyone and be genuine.

Last week, a girl approached me to compliment my Angry Birds shirt. I said "Thank you!" and she left. I feel stupid for not continuing the conversation because I could have easily used the common interest to my advantage.

However, damn the confidence boost I had knowing a cute girl would do that to me.

A school's campus is probably the best way to start approaching girls. You already have something (or multiple things) in common to talk about and crack jokes about. Talk to everyone. Add value. Join some clubs or club sports.
