Yeah, just wondering if I can get any tips. I don't really have friends that go out regularly or are single you know.

I feel kind of odd standing around in these places, and people don't always look approachable.

how to be cool even though I'm by myself and don't know anybody? i've had like one successful "pick up" in these places so I'm a little optimistic.

I mean, i know i have a right to go to these places and just check out what the dj is doing, but i'd like to find a reasonably intelligent girl that likes music or something without being awkward standing around for hours lol. technically though, that could work since no one is really paying attention to you. Its within your right to enjoy the music. It still feels awkward...

I'd like to just be able to approach women all the time, but I'm sort of in a suburb in nowhere, and its a bit of a drive to town. Feels so awkward mall patrolling you know, its not really packed with girls except on holidays. So I gotta drive to these events.
