TL;DR: What's the latest on OKC, LA, and online to IRL progression? /r/askseddit mod suggested this may be better here

Got out of a serious LTR of 4 years, about a year ago. I'm in my early thirties.

A little about me. I was super popular in high school, then got to a bad place in my early and middle twenties with women. Reading "The Game" totally changed my life. Ultimately I came to Dave M's IID on match.com with my own touches for two very successful years until I found the 4yr LTR I got out of. I thought I had the one but she developed in addiction that killed the relationship. This was in the southwest.

I'm getting back to things and it sure seems like OKC has superseded the rest and the data/search tools seem awesome. A couple of reasons I prefer online dating is for my schedule and that I'm super picky. Objectively I'm in a different class than a lot of general people out there. I'm fairly wealthy, I've run a number of successful companies, I'm a CEO and serial entrepreneur, I've published 2 non-fiction books with a fiction one in the works, I'm genius level smart when it comes to most things. I'm attractive (good face, fit, tan, very well groomed) but I'm losing my hair so hot or not had me at 7.5, 4 years back.

The really picky parts come up in terms of three things. A women's style, if they aren't into wearing a lot of heels and aren't pretty fashionable overall I'm just not interested. Second, they need to be very, very smart, much smarter than average. Third, I'm super kinky and only interested in women that are also like that or very open to it. Meeting women like this out and about I've found to be an extreme crap shoot. It's not worth my time when I can use the online sites to look for some subtle and not so subtle clues. OKC makes this incredibly easy. I really need to watch out for gold-diggers, fame whores and ladies looking to scam stuff from me. I tend to prefer unconventional beauty in terms of overall looks. Definitely brunettes over blondes, small boobs, subtle imperfections and quirks.

Upside is that the kinky thing sorts out the 3rd+ dates pretty well. It's rare enough that things take care of themselves when both parties are in at that point. If I don't have her tied to something or cumming from a vibrator in a public crowd while looking me dead in the eyes by the 4th or 5th date, I'm moving along.

My old formula was 2 or 3 small emails leading to short phone call (10-15M) and setting a date. 1st & 2nd dates qualify her on my picky criteria, making out escalating to groping. 3rd date something fancier and fun and vanilla or lightly kinky sex of some kind. 4th/5th date more fun and start of really kinky party time. I was usually in a couple concurrent relationships each lasting 1-6 months.

Statistically, short asian women overlap best my desires and in general I seem to be pretty attractive to them as well.

1) In LA now primarily, what is different here? Seems like traffic is a killer thing in terms of workable area. I'm near santa monica. Tons of very attractive but somewhat stupid women.

2) Is OKC the best of the online sites these days in terms of enough volume of excellent women to capable men? I'm concerned there are too many men running game on there for too few women. When it was around back when I was active before it was all hipster nerds and hippie chicks but seems like there are some very high caliber women there now.

3) Last I was doing this people still used the phone as a phone, i.e. voice. I have started to pick up some text game but what is the modern day version of my previous system? Couple short emails on OKC to phone texting, to IRL date?

4) What are some good wine bars with kino friendly seating?

5) What else has changed that I don't know I don't know?
