I may have made a mistake. But reddit please correct me if I am wrong.

I asked a girl out to coffee a while ago, she agreed.

The day before the date, I send a text to confirm whether she will come and appoint a time (I did not appoint a time earlier b/c I was unsure of what my schedule would look like until now). She responds that she has class at the appointed time and asks to move the date to a different day. I refuse, claiming to be busy (I really am).

Supposing I had time next week (she asked to move the date until next week), could I text her the day before without looking beta? After all, I said I was busy.

Edit: I saw on seddit that this may be a shit test, and it is important to no give in. Is this the case here? She asked me to move the date twice, both times I said was busy. The first time she asked to move it a bit later (after her classes end) but I couldn't for a legitimate reason. The second time I refused out of principle.

Please help!
