I find most of this to be just common sense. I'm not going to run around and open every door, grab her by the hand to get up at every chance, and so on but when I do it...it's far more appreciated. I'll pick the check up though and that is because I asked them out on the date to do what "I" wanted to do.

Being a gentlemen is something every single woman loves but don't over do it and don't look desperate. It should come natural to open a door, pick up a tap, and anything else like that but its when you NEVER do it or ALWAYS do it when it isn't appreciated.

A recent girlfriend of mine put it well: she will have sex if she's attracted, feels safe and feels respected. To me being a gentleman just means showing respect and providing a safe environment.

Being a fun, confident, MAN is what your frame should be. Thinking about being a "gentleman" treads too fine a line with AFC/suitor behaviour.

You can still be a gentleman and not be a pushover. How are we defining gentleman anyway? I define it as someone with some social polish and charm, while still being a man. No quality woman wants a pure brute.

I don't think "being a Gentleman" (or anything similar to it) is relevant for seduction anymore. I've closed that case under "no longer works".
