keep a box of matches in our car. when you fart, let it air out a bit and then light a match. it'll do wonders

It's double the awkward when you don't have a keyless entry, and have to fuck around with the locks.

On Thurs night I was on a casual date (drinks) with a new lady I had met through friends when something similar happened to me: I ran into a gay friend and his boyfriend who were leaving at the same time as my lady and I were. Being a gentleman, I introduced my lady to the boys and we had a quick convo before deciding to walk out together to continue catching up.
Now, this incident was slightly different than yours, but I think it showed to a new friend how open I was and confident I am with my gentlemanuality. I'm in my 20s, and I loved the 90s, so I reminisced about VHS tapes and the convo exploded with laughter and notalgia. +2 pts for Ned.
Always introduce.

after hosting and bar tending, I find it funny when a guy is on a date with a gal and we get their coats from the coat check... we hand both coats to the guy. the guy 90% of the time goes "this is her jacket..."
no dude, help your gal get her coat on... then put on your own.

You didn't mention how you introduced the woman, or didn't introduce the woman, or anything of that sort that the manager would comment on. Your post is unclear.
I used to focus a lot on gentlemanly things. I thought it was chivalrous. I hesitated to force my attention on women, and generally needed a formal introduction before speaking to them. I was quite gentlemanly, a really Nice Guy, and I didn't get laid.

I think these behaviours could be interpreted very differently coming from alphas vs betas/omegas. Coming from a beta it would be seen as something he needs to do to communicate worth to the woman. Coming from an alpha on the other hand, it would look as the alpha communicating that he finds the woman worthy.
Even in the primate world, most beta males use courtship displays as an appeasement gesture to both sexes. It's an act of submission, showing that he knows his place. When an alpha does it on the other hand, it is a gesture that says, "come back to my place".

unless the are socially awkward, a guy friend of mine constantly gave me an introduction at any party/event and I didn't really like the attention.

Say "im going to make friends man catch you in an hour." Then open "I just got here in my car that gets to hot in the winter, weird huh?"
