Sometimes, if you need something to say so you don't sound awkward, you still coming from a place of awkwardness so it kinda negates the whole thing.

Probably nothing more than a smile but if I must answer your question I'd probably go with, "That was a pleasant surprise." Making it a "suprise" is disarming and lets her feel like she gave you a gift, or somethign.
