The other day I had this epiphany where something major just clicked in my mind. This might not strike a chord with all of you, but let me explain what I came to realize.

I've been in the game for awhile, and read/watched/heard lots of educational material related to pick-up. One thing that I especially had a hard time wrapping my mind around was knowing where to draw the line between coming off as creepy or confident. It seemed like I kept hearing all of these contradictions...that I had to be Alpha but not come on too strong, that I had to be aggressive but indifferent, etc. After reflecting on everything over the years (and with help from T. Durden's The Blueprint), it suddenly just made sense to me.

The difference between creepy and confident is determined by whether or not you have an abundance mindset.

Now I know that the whole 'abundance mindset' concept is not new to most of you. But I think that its important to really understand its significance and not to just let it be another one of the regular buzzwords/jargon.

I have had varying success with girls, but lately things have just taken off because I finally get this. When I used to interact with a girl, I would not take it well if it didn't go anywhere. Sometimes I would go negative and just find flaws with them as a defense mechanism for why they didn't choose me. Usually my ego was just bruised and I would take it personally, and start letting insecurities come to the surface. I finally understood that it was this neediness and urge to have approval that really turns girls off.

But the thing is, there are an endless amount of reasons why an interaction won't lead anywhere, and you shouldn't take it so personally. Maybe she's in a relationship, maybe she just feels like hanging out with friends, maybe you just don't have enough chemistry or things in common.

So my point is this: never go negative. Always assume that a girl who didn't choose you must have her own valid reasons, and that you are a worthy human being who deserves what they want. Confidence comes from feeling that you deserve great things because you are self-assured in knowing that you are a great person.

And if the girl hasn't choose you, then move on. Or try to be friends and then you'll get to meet her single friends. There are literally millions of single girls in the world. Confidence becomes creepiness when you are clingy, needy, attached, and desperate. These qualities are hands down THE most unattractive in a man. Girls want someone they can depend on, not an insecure/emotionally unstable guy that they can't respect.

So yeah, like I said, this might not be the biggest revelation but it has helped me understand the game a little bit better. Sometimes we tend to get bogged down in all these methods/theories/strategies, when I think its important to start from a simple foundation.
