So my friend and I went out for St. Patty's and were at an all day drinking event. Early in the day we were doing okay opening a few 3 and 4 sets, but later things got more difficult. The weather turned cold and rainy which drove everyone under the one tent at the place. When we were there we realized that we were having difficulty opening and breaking into these circle. What the situation looked like was a middle school dance where groups of 5+ people were standing in circles all back to back making it difficult to approach. It was so crowded and loud you could not step in to interject into a conversation or approach a girl unless it was directly behind her. Even after approach she had difficulty hearing you, let alone her friends. Has anyone come across this and found a way to break in when there is no room for you to walk up or pull them away?
