Check out OsborneIRL's comment for a correctly formatted version Wrote this mostly for my benefit : The dangers of over thinking, neediness, and putting a woman on a pedestal. This topic has been covered extensively but, I wanted to give a few examples from my life just to remind anyone who needs reminding to avoid these traps. Summary of first Encounter I met this girl at a dance party. She was cute. I gamed her and succeeded in creating attraction. Being new to the game I didn't really know how to follow up. So I made plans with her two days from then. More attraction was built then, however, I did not escalate. It turns out she is 3 years older than me. She is 21 and I'm 18. It seemed to be a real problem but, due to the way I act she said "it's weird you're younger than me but older in some ways." Obviously this was a comment on my maturity. This went well. Analysis I was ecstatic that my application of the game worked so much so I bragged to friends (Mistake 1: putting her on a pedestal. It starts out small but snowballs out of control and becomes one-itis fast). Eventually I could feel the one-itis start to attack. I tried to make plans with her again. She couldn't the weekend but I would see her at my dance class on Friday. I was nervous on my way to the class and I knew that was not good (Mistake 2: over thinking this is a direct result that comes from putting a woman on a pedestal). I was fun all class and party (there are parties on Fridays) even had another girl all over me but I wanted the first one even though this other girl was also beautiful (Pedestal). I worked the room and had fun with every one but I feel like I didn't build any attraction that encounter. I may have actually lost some due to neediness (Mistake 3: neediness). I seemed to always go back to her and I knew I had to fix this so I began to wander the room a bit. It worked cause on the way out she found me. We said bye and I left. The only thing that let me know that she might not be into me is a conversation we had while dancing. Me: are you looking at my dog tag? (it's a man in a suit) Her: yeah what is that? Me: it's my body guard he protects me from bad news like you (with a sly grin) Her: well he's not doing a good job. Me: why do you say that? Her: well look how close we are. Me: I don't know how to take that. Ill just interpret it in the best way. Her: (laughing) now you're just putting words in my mouth. Me: I may be but you're ok with it right? (Smile) Her: (smiling) no I'm not. Again, the fact that I'm reading really far into this is over thinking. (Another example of Mistake 2) Lessons 1. Do not put a woman on a pedestal. She is just a person. This can lead to other game killers such as anxiety and neediness. Remind yourself that you are just having fun. Avoid pride. It destroys because it creates a bad mindset. It's ok to be cocky and funny, actual it's encouraged. But pride gets in you and is another way of putting a woman on a pedestal. It also causes you to build yourself up so high that a night that doesn't really show progress or regress can cause you to fall hard. Show up humble. Do not expect--realize there is a possibility that something great can happen but do not go places trying to get laid or get some. Always have something better to do than pick up because women can see when you're just there scoping. Do not over think. Just show up have fun. Save the full game for when you isolate the woman for now. (Still throw in pebbles and be interesting) Do not seem needy. In fact, work on inner game more so you're not a needy person. Women pick up on this from miles away. If you do immediately stop. Walk away. Do something else. You'll have the urge to go back but fight it. When you are in a calm mind set then assess the situation and act accordingly. To conclude Just a bit of analyzing the mistakes made so others can learn. We learn from our mistakes, but can avoid making many if we learn from others'. Again, these topics have been covered extensively but, I just wanted to give a few more examples with a few notes. Thank you and keep being awesome!
