I know bmi isn't accurate but what's a good number to aim for?

Don't aim for a BMI, just lift and aim for a certain weight with 10-12% body fat; if athletes with greek god physiques took a BMI test they would be classified as obese

8-12% body fat not BMI 8 might be a bit too extreme and your face might look weird so find what works

18-25 is the normal range so 21-22 is probably fine. Fitness forums tend to reject bmi but in my experience it's accurate for the vast majority of gym goers, I never saw a bmi of 26+ with abs excepting obvious ped users.
