well why do you think she is probably interested?

This guy is barking up the right tree, I think: Doesn't respond to texts because she "rarely uses her phone"..... sounds a little bit like one of those polite excuses girls give when they like the attention they're getting and/or don't have the balls to come right out and say that they're not interested.

I'll just come right out and say that I'm doubting you, OP. I mean, if she HAS a phone and is "probably" interested, there had better be one hell of a good show of interest to make up for flat out NOT responding to texts for such a borderline unbelievable reason. (In this day and age, to not use your phone when everyone you know wants to text you? That's not even an option for older folks who can scarcely tell one end of their cellphone from the other.)
