If you see it as a problem, then yup its a problem.

What you want to do is get out there and have fun. Start slow and say Hi to people you encounter and get a feeling for being out there and social.

I don't understand why so many people on here have such a polarized attitude to everything, it seems its either "I'm short/fat/ugly this will never work" or "I did everything, I AM THE BEST, PICKUP RULES".

It is possible to have fun and feel good about yourself by talking to girls without succumbing to pre-learned lines or routines.

I guess my advice to you, as someone who has one foot in this lifestyle and one foot out, is to just talk to them naturally and if you feel comfortable doing it then play those things to your advantage by joking about your height and age, put it this way most girls don't approach guys and so if the 9/10 stud that they are fawning over doesn't come and talk to them then you by actually conversing with her are the focal point of her attention.

Also don't worry about blowouts, they happen...back when I used to do this shit seriously I had a night where a girl ran away screaming from me (I know, I know smooth)...the same night I managed to pull a girl far prettier than I ever expected. So you know...roll with the punches and that.

Work on your confidence, open lots of sets, have lots of fun, escalate, dance your ass off, give energy to the atmosphere.

However, you need to fix your lack of confidence. I don't know what your hangups are about being young or small, but if you can't change it, you need to work with it.

My friend brought his little brother (freshman) to one of our mixers at my residential high school (we're seniors) on Saturday. That kid danced on more girls that night than I ever have. It's all on how you approach it. Don't give a fuck, don't try to get anything out of it, just do it to have fun, and fun will come to you.
