Failing that pretend to receive a text and make a disgruntled noise. Women being as they are will want to know what's up. Tell them "don't worry this night is about you". They will either ask again or just accept it. If they accept it fake another text (you don't need to get a fake text app, just grab it out of your pocket out of her view pretending it was on silent). Upon her asking, she will, tell her a former date from a few weeks ago doesn't accept you did not find her compatible.
