Questions like this are why I hate routine based game. People think 'huh, kino, I'll just do that!"

Touching for the sake of touching is a one way ticket being a creep. You don't awkwardly put your hand on her, you have to touch with purpose and intent whether it's holding her hand or physically picking her up. Putting your hand on her randomly and aimlessly isn't going to do anything but make you look weird.

You're at a pool... Forget about game and outcomes and just concentrate on having fun. If you're having fun at a pool there will be plenty of opportunities for physical contact to occur naturally in a way that doesn't feel forced and which isn't going to result in you looking weird.

Kino should be really easy with all sorts of pool games. Be the leader of the group and always come up with the next fun idea. Chicken fights, tackle football, Marco Polo, pool basketball, diving contests, etc. Being the leader is sexy, add that to the touching that spontaneously happens with these games and your good. Think like you are a kid and it'll be fun for everyone.

I'm just going to throw a few more things out there that may be of interest. Ask her to apply sun tan lotion on your back, flip her off a lounge raft, shit just have fun with it.
