I have an LTR of 1.5 years and at about 1 year into the relationship I received a job offer I couldn't refuse and moved from the East Coast to the West Coast, irrespective of whether she would follow me.

She decided to follow me and moved a couple months later. I told her I did not believe in cohabitation before marriage and that I was not willing to move in together. She got roommates.

Now we are several months in and she is at a crossroads where she has to apply for grad school and will be deciding on West Coast or to go back home to the East Coast.

She told me that she would not be willing to stay out here if we don't move in together for her graduate school out here. She does not want to live 5 more years (PhD) not living together and feeling isolated so far from home and family.

She treats me like a king, she's a great girl, and someone I could see myself marrying and having kids with some day. But I don't enjoy having sex with her due to some issues I'm having and I also don't enjoy our time together quite as much as I would hope someone in a LTR would.

But it's hard to walk away from a girl who treats me like a king and is madly in love with me (to the point of moving across the country to be with me).

What would you do in this situation? About her ultimatum.
