Not bad at actually talking to girls and being social, but never really approached a girl out of the blue. How do I actually do this the first time?

Start small. Set goals for yourself, like approaching a random girl and having a fun conversation. As you get small victories like these, slowly ramp up to #-closes, etc etc. Also, there is no way to completely get rid of the risk of coming off as a "creep." Its honestly not that big of a deal though. She thinks you're a creep? Her loss. Talk to someone new and move on

Start super small. First walk around and smile with eye contact. Do that a bunch until smiling is easy and eye contact is easy. Then move on to saying hi or even just grunting if it helps, anything to open your mouth and make a sound. The more you can break it down in to small pieces and get over those small pieces, the more you can take it as a smooth ramp up to cold approaching.

If you can already approach girls you have something in common with then it is much more all in your head. If you want a script here it is:

Get in front of the girl and say 'Hey' with a loud commanding tone and smile.
Say ' I've got to stop you, you look super cute / gorgeous / I love your outfit / those are some badass heels etc etc
Introduce yourself, shake hands, ask here name.
Say 'what are you up to today? you look like you are ....' cold read / guess what she is doing. Or cold read where she is from, or both,
Then comes everything you normally do, talk, touch, tease, challenge, etc.

Its really as simple as saying hi, introducing yourself and asking her name. If a girl rejects you immediately from approach, its not because of your approach its probably because she didn't want to be approached by anyone at all. Past the approach you're golden. You aren't going to be asking a girl for their number, or getting them in bed, when they suddenly reject you because your approach was off. That will never happen. In theory, approach is the least significant part. But its also the hardest thing to do for a lot of people.

What negative thing has actually happened when you've approached a girl out of nowhere?

Go up and approach 10 girls with "Hello, my name is DrYaklagg", and then come back to report what you had trouble with.

Anything else is just mental masturbation.

You're situation is identical to mine.. Approach Anxiety kills me, I freeze up way too much that Iv'e just shut myself off from trying. I don't have any advice but this was so identical to my life that I had to say something.
