I'm in university and there are several hotties I would like to get with. I have a severe problem of friendzoning myself. If I try to be friendly with girls in my class, I usually get friend zoned faster than a rabbit gets fucked. When I have rapport with people, I'm usually very positive and optimistic. This seems to always put me in the friend category with women. (On the upside, I'm able to make friends and get along with people pretty well). The down side is that women DO NOT respond to a positive and optimistic disposition. I've noticed that when I'm cold and dismissive, women tend to have this surface resentment of me, but I can tell by their body language that they find me attractive. So you ask,"What's the problem? Just be a dick to them". The problem arises when I try to cross that barrier of distant dick guy to, having one on one relations guy.

When I'm distant and cold, I don't interact with the women I want as much. In fact, I think they're more attracted to me because I become the guy on a pedestal they can't even talk to because he's so high status. So when it comes time for me to actually take the woman I want, it becomes weird since there is no rapport. What the fuck do I say? What is the "line" I should say to communicate my interest to the women without shocking her into a rejection? In other words, even if a girl likes you, if you have no rapport with her and you come on too strong, you will get rejected because their brains can't handle the shock. So they put up a brick wall in a tenth of a second and shut down completely. I've noticed this especially with "fresh off the boat" asian girls. They may like you and want you, but coming on too strong will lead to a rejection. And so this is my problem. I'm confident in my ability to harness attraction when I'm being observed from a distance, but I tend to lose it when I become friendly with the girl. How can I transition from distant and mysterious, to sexually accessible for the girl without scaring her off?
