I think you're on the right track. Just keep with being fun and confident without any neediness and she'll come around. If anything just make sure you're giving her space, so you can push/pull her to get her invested, don't always feel like you have to chase her down or force things to work.

Btw, acting? Genius way to meet super hot chicks! I'm going to find a local theater group when I finish this message.
