Several problems:

Okay, is school really your favorite topic? This week's theme is talk with her about what YOU want to talk about, ask her out to do things YOU want to do. I'd take her down to get a cheesesteak, or to the park, or play the slots, or whatever you enjoy doing.
Tone: Nice guys make great gender-neutral friendzone buddies. You want anyone readng your texts should be able to tell you're a guy, especially her.
Too easy. As Mystery says: if you hand a feather to a cat, the cat won't want the feather and will just put it down and look at you. Women are the same way. Don't just hand your attention over just like that or be too easy to please, because she will take you for granted and attach little value to you. This one is more of a challenge to fix and requires push-aways (tell her to go do something) and snatch-aways (tell her you got something for her: a card, present, or tell her you plan to take her out on a fun date. By not giving it to her immediately, you're basically showing it to her, and then snatching it away.)

Here kitty, kitty....get the feather! That works on guys also. I'll tell you how in a minute...

Stop asking boring job interview questions. Stop asking what they're doing and stop being so serious. Women don't want to waste their time with another of the thousand boring guys who message her online through dating websites. Have some fun and let them know you're not serious and boring.

The first interaction struck me as too soon to be suggesting you are looking to do something fun tonight (maybe with her? is the implication).

She has seen your profile but doesn't know how creepy you might or might not be. It might not be what you intended but wanting to meet immediately could be a red flag. Talk with her first for a while and I don't know, pretend she is a guy friend and you are entertaining eachother with witty banter or silliness or just talking about life. Treat online interactions of this kind as not trying to impress or meet people but simply having fun. If you enjoy, move on to calls and then meet.

When the second girl said it bores her, you could ask what interests her, but saying she was going to wal-mart sounds like her shutting you down by saying something boring. It sounds like she was being polite in responding. Maybe she was in a bad mood and didn't feel like chatting but did anyway because she hoped you would cheer her up.

Look, the theme of all the comments already posted are saying either: you are boring, that's why you talk about boring stuff; or you have trouble communicating you are fun.

So, get a pen and paper now! Go, I'll wait right here. Okay, write down ten things you've done that are fun and/or interesting. Message me when you finish this.

Hey dude, I have the exact same problem. I can't keep their interest in me up, at least in most cases. Although I have to say, the girl in the second conversation sounds like a boring rude person anyway, I wouldn't have answered her "It bores me". And maybe since a third perspective can help you out, I think your text game is not that great. In the first conversation, your "Thanks :) I hope you guys have fun too" was way too formal and boring. The topic should have been over at that point, just change the topic to something else, like your shared interests. I mean, you even mentioned you guys had so much in common, why don't you just take it from there and write something intriguing/funny about that and add a genuine, interested question? I think you're too much on a small talk level now, try to get the conversation more intense. Some girls, however, still will react like that and lose interest for various reasons (as I said, I'm still pretty horrible at that too). Don't care and move to the next one. Try again, fail, try again, fail, try again, succeed.

Are you shy? I'm shy. Maybe our problem is that we try to take the "easy route", or in other words a route on which we can't get rejected. The problem is that by doing that we won't get rejected directly, but we'll never have a shot either. Try flirting more, be more forward, chase her, elaborate on your common interests etc. I'm trying this out right now and I can tell you, it's hard as fuck because I just can't take rejection at this point, but I - and you - will learn how to get rejected and the more we get rejected the better. There was a fairly recent piece of advice on this subreddit about rejection, I'll have a look around and see if I can find it. (by the way, sorry for any errors or misunderstandings, English isn't my native language). All the best for you!
